So... One day - maybe - this will be something I look back on fondly, like I look at the newborn pics of my daughter and think, my little business was such a cute little thing. I had no idea what I was doing but look how far we've made it!

At least I hope I do!

I am sat here today, April 2025, pressing launch on my website and about to go and tell my family and friends that I'm giving this a go!

I've been trying to get this up and out for a long time - I think it was July 2024 when I bought my domain and decided that I would have a go. Shit or get off the pot, if you will. Well its taken the better part of a year (I have two jobs, a child under 5, a husband, a dog and sometimes I like to sit and watch TV or scroll aimlessly so yeah, its took some tiiiiiiiiiime) but I'm here now and in the words of my good friend...
YOU'RE SHITTING!

That's right. I'm shitting. I didn't get off the pot.

and now I need to find a way to a) change this metaphor and b) follow through.

This blog is something I'm playing with for now but I'm hoping, dear internet, that it might help me find some clarity and direction and maybe even some style? That's a topic I'll probably touch on a bit cos I currently don't really know what my style is and its something I am really trying hard to figure out.

I'll also waffle on a bit and chat like I'm talking - but for now I'm only talking to myself and that's ok. Healthy.
